Hopper in Rome

At the weekend we finally got round to going to the Edward Hopper exhibition in town. It was a lovely exhibition with some great examples of Hopper's earlier work and lots of his preparatory sketches.


One of my favourite things was the interactive section where Hopper sketches had been projected onto huge stacks of white paper so that you could make a copy of the sketch to take away with you. Below is my effort - I was pretty pleased with it!

La Primavera

We've been away for a little while over Easter but while we've been elsewhere spring has sprung in Rome.


Ben has been super busy today with a spot of balcony gardening...



We've got lots of beautiful new herbs for our balcony now that it's got all sunny.


And some flowers for the box outside my window so that I have something inspiring to look at while I work. Yeay!
